What do you do if there are multiple patients with the same name?

Well, you have a few options:

Firstly it's best practice to try and encourage all patients to have a profile picture. That way you have a visual face verification when searching for patients.

The second way is to cross check their email address. When you type in the name of the patient in the search bar their email address comes up just below their name.

The final way is to go into the patients patient hub and look at their DOB, that way you can ensure that you're accessing the correct information you need for that patient.
